I like Paul's tip much better because it's more direct and simple (I get confused thinking about musical instruments which I don't? use). Touch the insides of both legs together creates a unified feel for the entire hip area which can rotate at speed. I can relate to that.

I've studied Stan Utley and been to two Pelz 1-day short game clinics and neither were as intuitive as this simple tip. I told my playing partners today, "I took a chipping lesson on YouTube". We all laughed until they watched me chip. I don't know, or? have ever heard of Paul Wilson before this video, but my hat is off to him.

hey? paul great tip. Im having trouble hitting the ball to far back before making contact causing it to fat. I thought maybe im slowing down on my follow through but not sure. What do you think?

this isn't the type of shot that would backspin and stop on the green...this shot tries to minimize the time that the ball is? in the air so it can get rolling on the green asap.

nice video! really looking forward to spring now. In terms of chipping I often struggle with short positions of the flag. My chips are good but when the position of the flag is short after? the green edge it often occurs that my chip shot just runs to far. Crucial is the speed of my swing because swinging less wouldn't get the ball to drop first time onto the edge of the green, instead it would lose control dropping on the foregreen. Can you help me to develop a Chip stop??
