Hacker and writer Joshua Klein is fascinated by crows. (Notice the gleam of intelligence in their little black eyes?) After a long amateur study of corvid behavior, he's come up with an elegant machine that may form a new bond between animal and human. (2008)

no not really :) unless you mean the tree with hundreds of crows ,next to my new house. but they were already there before me:) Animals just dont seem to be afraid of me . dogs? and cats always come greet me. even the ducks at the water next to my house never run away from me ,and totally ignore me. pretty funny, i probably dont look scary enough:)

Actually, they already do that. When they do this in a urban environment, they seek out coin of ANY KIND and then use? this machine to feed themselves. I think they've made thousands of dollars to date doing this. But this is of course over years and not just days.

You most likely scared him yes. However, You might be bothered by his offspring considering they don't forget faces and that you've fed him before. So, there is that. Have you been approached by other crows around your area??

stage 5, move the coins to a greater radius making the crows look for more coins to put in? the machine.

i grew up on farms, and when my pop? came over to France he had to teach french farmers around him to not hunt down crows or foxes, as more you hunt them down the more you have around, they are very resiliant and intelligent, like other animals they know more about us then we do about them, just that humans think of themself so highly they forget to notice things like that.

one step missing: put the coins further away from the machine, so the crows learn to collect them from further away. repeat a few times. see them stealing money for you xD improvement: teach them to collect bank notes afterwards:? profit

I like crows and ravens, they seem mysterious and very intelligent. I often hear crows cawing around my school. I saw one for the first time on top of a tree last summer; I was awed! Was staring? at it for ages.

After developing a relationship with 3 crows in my neighborhood they started to give me gifts? in exchange for the food I gave them. They fly over and drop a small seashell or a picked bone or a peanut shell directly in front of me. Sweet!
