I first heard the song? may 2009, i lost everything call 'family' a month earlier. Though i walk thru the valley low, my heart will always trust Jesus. Mark's song helped me calm my storms. I love the song, my heart cried for the 1st time in my life when i heard it. Thanks a lot Mark.

death & crucified all the sake of saving others from theirselves. This seriously brought tears to my eyes &? I'm not even a father. But,this really has made me feel just a tiny bit of what our Heavenly Father felt as he watched the world just tear his only son apart. Any other father would've done all he could to ensure the safety of his son. But, God endured the grief because he knew his purpose for his son's suffering, to pay for the sins of everyone...past, present, & future. I really relate to this song. Six years ago, we lost our? 15 year old son in an auto accident. That night, I prayed my hardest he would make it. This songs speaks of some of the torture I have gone through losing him. My Father has never left my side through this. His promise is I will see my son again. I look forward to meeting Jesus and the reunion with my son in our heavenly home. Thank you, Mark, for using your talents for the Lord.

That is why Mark wrote this song. He did it for a friend whose son was diagnosed with leukemia. He was 14 at the time and he now is an adult with the love and mercy of? our Lord.

I heard this song for the first time at my 6 year old son's funeral. Someone attending gave the CD to our pastor and suggested it just before the service. I read the words of the song and said, this is exactly how I feel right now.? When it played, there was not a dry eye in the place. I had the opportunity to meet Mark a year later and thanked him for this song. He asked Nicholas' story and tears welled up in his eyes. He asked if he could hug me. Such a humble artist sharing God's love!

My 14 yr? old became addicted to drugs and alcohol....it's not how we raised him. His addiction got worse and at 15 he tried to commit suicide. I heard this song and although I had been praying for my son for years I finally gave it all up to God and trusted in him to help. My son is now 16 doing well and getting better everyday.

love this song and it has special, personal meaning for me. i really appreciate the message it sends here paired with scenes from The Passion. the song was written about a boy in Mr. Shultz's youth group who had leukemia. it is a prayer written from the kid's father's point of view. the boy was cured and now leads a healthy? life. (all this info was from a concert where Mr. Shultz explains his song)
