If this? is my future, I want to die right now, I do not want a fucking "Automated car", I was planning on building cars in my life, Now that this shit is being brought up it crushes me. This is a sad generation, and a very horrible time to live

I think they don't since they were officially secure for no ticket but if so Google company will pay for it but they highly have enough money so it's fine and the guy who is in the drivers seat will definitely will have a ID for? specification.
By: Nic7320. on 23 May 12, 05:10:00
So, if it *does*? get pulled over, who gets the ticket?

Das ist ja mal richtig cool! Ich will auch ein? Google Self-Driving Car!
By: deepforge. on 12 May 12, 06:28:23
Despite our reasoning ability and massive "parallelism", we're also influenced by distractions (texting while driving, dropping coffee in lap, etc.), fatigue, anger and other emotions, poor observance (or sometimes lack of knowledge) of road laws, and several other factors that we? seem to not be able to tracking and regulate away. All factors that robotics don't experience.
By: deepforge. on 12 May 12, 06:24:01
Caution is good. Sound science is just as much conservative as it is progressive. That said, qualify your statement. Give examples of the scenarios you're taking about where sober, "reasoning" human beings have excellent, on-road track records that can't be solved with the optimum mix of sensors, planning functions, and on-line data. I think you'll eventually find that? teams like these wouldn't bother working on autonomous driving if people were so good at it.

yeah, after I injested 14 hits of acid I kind? of thought the same thing
By: Ajedi32. on 11 May 12, 16:14:51
Yeah, that's pretty much what Google translate came up with too. It still makes no sense... or are? you just making up random insults to throw at me?

Amazing! Google translate worked even better than I expected. And yeah, countries don't directly attack the USA anymore. At least, they haven't for some time. I don't think we've ever attacked another country (not in the? last several hundred years anyway) without cause. I belive it's mostly been to protect our security more than it has been for our freedom. (Although we did remove several nasty dictators from power, if I remember correctly.)
By: Ajedi32. on 10 May 12, 19:11:24
Ú?asné! Google Translate pracoval je?t? lep?í ne? jsem ?ekal. A jo, zem? nejsou p?ímo úto?it na USA u? ne.

He might not be a native speaker, this usually tend to make others look down on them without considering what he/she might be saying. Anyway, I think what he/she trying to say is that Google's self driving car could be controlled to some extent (maybe for something illegal ) by manipulating what the system looks for on the road. That is a good observation, but I think they might have already considered the possibility and have taken good measures.?
