As long as they're in? sleep mode and not play mode they're very very mushy cuddly dogs. Mine will literally jump into my bed and nudge her way under the blanket, it's pretty cute. Greatest dogs on the planet

I work with rescued dogs from spain. This dogs were used for hunting and normally the spain people kill them if they are not longer good enough. Surely they are hunters and have such a lot of energy inside, but in a family they are looking for a lot of bodycontakt and are really close to all family members. If one of the family feels? bad they are very close and give power back. Thats what i have seen with gsp.

Did you work with show GSP's alot ? Because? the kurzhaars I worked with were among the toughest dogs I ever met. They were hunting dogs, so I assume that you met some show lineage dogs if you say they are sensitive. But I still totally agree with the fact that spiked collars are torture. If someone cannot get the basic respect from its dog (and gets pulled around) shouldn't have the right to own a dog. Especially a spirited dog like a GSP...

I've been working with GSP's alot and it only takes them long to learn if you are totally incompetent as a dog trainer. You should listen to? professionals. Dog school doesn't always help, it is you that should make the relationship with your dog work. You have to control the mind, not the body. And that collar is effective because it? is painful. It shows that you have no love and respect for your dog, if you would put in some effort you would succeed in teaching him some manners

I have two dogs of this type, with one dog i'm going to the dog school, and he don't want to learn regular commands so easy, it takes a long time to learn something, but the? other dog is completely different, so it's about dogs personality and i will use any tool to make my dog understand what he can do or what not

I know this kind of dogs very well, cause i also have one. what you need is a training with the dog and NOT such a collar. It needs a little time to train a dog with this energy, but it works surely. PLEASE look for a good dogtrainer and throw this prong collar away.. I am a dogtrainer, but it make no sense cause the distance is a little bit too much. If you know someone who speaks? German i can give you the link to my website, there are a few neefull tips for doghandling.

its not animal torture cuz i have that type of dog that have a lots of energy and? that collar helps me that he's not pulling me around. he have 7 months now but he likes to run everywhere and i don't want him to pull me on the road full of cars
