Some time could be save precalling the tool up in "holding area" but if something goes wrong you might be left what tool is in there. It's not the carousel nor the spindle. Changer fucks up often. Some tools work better without coolant, they like and need the heat to perform at their best, and some materials cut better with a blast of air as the cooling/chip flushing aspect.
