Dude. Look at his swing. He's obviously? a long drive competitor.
By: ZeroSumJ1. on 27 Apr 12, 07:34:21
that? is a long driver!
By: watertonrivers. on 25 Apr 12, 10:15:06
Sir, great video, but don't? forget to let students know that tension free shoulders, forearms and hands are critical for a great swing!!!
By: golftipvideos. on 11 Apr 12, 14:15:38
You don't have to like the video or agree with the teaching methods. But keep in mind they come from someone who's qualified and who has succeeded in the sport. ?

Stop this vid @ the 2:00 mark. Look at this guy's postion!! Hips TOTALLY turned about 70 degrees. Shaft at the 5 o'clock position. That hip rotation is NOT what he instructs us to do. I mean...come? ON!!
By: hwatsky. on 17 Feb 12, 04:45:37
Great vid. Just to be clear, the main point you're trying to get across is to maximize shoulder turn while keeping your hip turn minimal? Not minimal, but like not over-turning your hips in order to feel a lot of tension between the upper and lower body? ?
By: golftipvideos. on 16 Feb 12, 14:59:50
No, they're saying they can help those who are willing to do the work necessary, and believe in their own abilities. I guess that leaves you out. ?
By: watson442. on 10 Feb 12, 22:28:44
are they seriously saying they can get all amateurs to hit the ball 350 plus? seriously...?

By: jaskel555. on 27 Jan 12, 23:42:35
Nice vid guys, as a golfer who hasnt played in 7 years I am now getting back into it,? I enjoy your videos, I need to stop my driver hits from fading hard to the right, i want them to get straight, I have good distance but the ball always curves tothe right~
By: tonpianchorb. on 21 Jan 12, 14:42:08
350 yards! Wow! that is really really amazing. Thank you for sharing this VDO. Your theory is very intersting. ? My theory is on the whole body's energy transfer, right at the impact to the ball. My body is not so big. My best is currently 320, and I'm working to make it to 350 one day.
By: jeanmunn. on 18 Jan 12, 09:47:33
Not a chance I'm ever going to hit it 350,,,or 300 for that matter but that being said this is probably the best golf instruction video on You-Tube. I'm sixty six and hold a nine handicap,,I love my senior men's golf at my club,,it's a great game. I'm doing a? complete equipment change for this new season. I'm fortunate that I can still make a good shoulder turn and I've known for my forty odd years of golf that is where the distance derives from,,good video, I'm working on flexability now.

Thanks for the kind? words. Always great to hear positive feedback. Makes it all worthwhile!
By: Mzeelisto1. on 03 Jan 12, 13:10:05
I like this? video its straight to the point and any golfer who wants to hit it further will appreciate.... the key facts here are the shoulder turn, hip, and release....Excellent it has helped me get that ball further.....
By: DominusGolf. on 14 Dec 11, 16:29:48
Excellent video, Dominus? Golf's "Tour Pure" will put players in those positions. To hit the ball longer and straighter.
By: brown55061. on 08 Dec 11, 03:28:36
@golftipvideos Simple misunderstanding. I meant PGA tour, not long drivers. And the 90% isn't due to technique but physical limitations of the average golfer's flexibility. The average golfer is 40# overweight where? the average tour player is in phenomenal shape. People who drink their dinners and eat KFC 3 nights a week are going to struggle being flexible enough to make their hips and shoulders turn fast enough to pull off 350 yards, w/out the cart path that is.
By: golftipvideos. on 07 Dec 11, 00:39:50
Thanks for the comment. I don't agree with your theory that "plenty of people who drive 350 feet and aren't even in the top 100". I don't know how you quantify "plenty". This is a video of someone who IS a long ball champion. He makes his living driving the ball farther than most. My point is, he speaks on the subject that he is an expert in. If his technique doesn't work for you, that's cool.? But I think you're WAY off base & CRAZY to suggest it won't work for 90%
By: brown55061. on 05 Dec 11, 15:53:59
There are plenty of people who drive 350 on tour and aren't even in the top 100. There are at least 5 ways to add more club head speed. The X factor? technique doesn't work for 90% of amateurs due to flexibility problems. I can hit it 295 if I catch it square and I have almost no hip rotation and am more of a stack & tilt method. I guess this is one method to try if an amateur wants to try something.
By: whinis. on 08 Oct 11, 01:14:24
i have a 300-310 drive and i have nearly no hip? rotation
By: whinis. on 08 Oct 11, 01:13:11
i feel the? same im also 15 and have a consistent 300-310 yard drive and i still need to work on form i nearly no movement in my lower body
By: athleticgolftraining. on 07 Oct 11, 01:31:16
More power comes from the hips 1 mph increase of hip speed = 25 mph clubhead speed increase. This is due to leverage? points and length of angles bio-mechanically.
