By: jalbertson0002. on 22 May 12, 23:22:34
Kurt was supposed to have said he based the riff to come as you are on this, he also said he based the nevermind album to surfer? rosa by the pixies
By: FullOfRocket. on 22 May 12, 18:06:58
what the fuck is? this? Come on guys.... it's not so much different but it still be different!!!
By: 5jc96. on 22 May 12, 17:25:38
do none of you perhaps think its just a coincidence? there are 12 different notes on a guitar, and only 3? and a bit octaves, so there are just over 36 different notes you can play, do you not think that over hundreds of years, two or more bands might play the same few notes in a riff? its not even the same rhythm for gods sake
By: hackedwizard. on 22 May 12, 14:34:51
fuck you all? 3 fans of killing joke
By: OrtonCenaHBatistaFan. on 22 May 12, 00:10:49
Wow not even that similar. People just like to make a big deal out of everything?
By: rippenburn. on 21 May 12, 15:44:08
Totally different actually. Geordie is far more choppy? and discordant.
By: mateojeremy. on 21 May 12, 00:17:33
killing joke was? Kurt's favorite band dude
By: Bdizz2012. on 20 May 12, 15:17:48
Oh, please. Life Goes On by The Damned? sounds NOTHING like either song. It only sounds like that if you're trying to make Nirvana look better.
By: thebestmetal21. on 19 May 12, 17:51:46
I? FUCKIN' LOVE THIS SONG!!! \m/ Killing Joke, the Industrial Metal Father!*-*
By: Kybernauten1969. on 19 May 12, 02:24:04
I see? some 'kids" here claiming a nonsense musical objection? Nirvana is all right but did not even exist in 1980's when KILLING JOKE started !!!
By: hellsunicorn. on 17 May 12, 20:26:12
The issue isn't that Nirvana wrote a riff that is almost exactly like the principle riff of this song, the issue is that Kurt and? the other flunkies that made up that band pretended like they'd never heard of Killing Joke, while earlier having sent them a Christmas Card. It's perfectly fine to take certain ideas and jazz them up to make them your own, but don't fucking lie about it.
By: cromwelljones21. on 14 May 12, 17:26:17
Let's talk some Killing? Joke. XD
By: richyvandegrift. on 12 May 12, 22:26:40
killing? joke certainly entered a rip in the space/time continum, went forward in time and copied Nirvana. then ate a ham sandwich with extra mustard.
By: BucksStudent. on 11 May 12, 13:15:46
Impossible, since this came out before Nirvana? was even a fucking band.
By: MechanicalHeretic. on 10 May 12, 20:08:54
No one copied anyone or everyone copied everyone. That's the way it is. Killing Joke is a legendary band? and it's not so fucking amazing that many artist (for example Nirvana) were inspired by their songs.
By: Loqquer. on 10 May 12, 02:39:50
And the Damned probably copied? some other band. Point is, it doesn't really matter since all three songs sound incredibly different.
By: Krist Alain. on 10 May 12, 00:09:36
Kurt even admitted that the riffs are exactly like? x) 2 great songs though
By: ketamina. on 08 May 12, 11:49:58
Listen to The Damned - Life goes on. that´s the original? riff...so Nirvana certainly copied the damned..anyway i love this song.
By: MrBurgundy76. on 08 May 12, 10:23:12
not sure? if this was copied but its fucking awesome and going on my ipod
By: ThexBloodyxMary. on 07 May 12, 20:47:51
This stills? NOT Nirvana.
