@Bey0ndDeath Evolution is based on random mutation, but NOT random selection. It's based on natural selection which? means that some mutations are favored because they give some edge on survival and/or procreation for the organism.

Without Islam we would not have much of our? medical knowledge. Muslim scientists of earlier centuries were free to expand their fields of knowledge based on SCIENTIFIC experimentation.

Sigh....back then the highest percentage of alcohol in beer was around 3%. In the hydrating doses that people drank at that time, minds are much more open and less inhibited PROMOTING analytic thought. Charlie Sheen in an alcoholic and drug addict. Are you comparing an historical figure, a messiah to that? Humans have not become more intelligent as? time has progressed. We have forgotten much of what we knew. Knowledge is being rediscovered. Islam was once pioneer in scientific thought.

Is Evolution not based on Random Mutation and Random? Selection?
By: thelossbloodlock. on 26 May 12, 20:29:35
You were having a conversation on YouTube, it is hardly a private space. Besides, we? weren't "randomly mutated by coincidence". You need to read up more.
By: MultiKronblom. on 26 May 12, 20:25:01
Well I am not impossible, show? me the evidence. As for christians yes. One can not have an intelligent debate with your ilk because our superstitions.
By: ex3vious. on 26 May 12, 20:10:47
you assume i show no respect to atheists after saying i respect Penn. You are the arrogant type of atheist im talking about, saying I can give no shred of evidence for my beliefs, you haven't even meet me. apparently that is the problem with people like me, because all Christians are the same stupid and arrogant. Seriously? man, way to ruin it for other atheists who actually want to have an intelligent conversation about the existence of God.
By: Bey0ndDeath. on 26 May 12, 20:00:08
That quote does not contradict any other. So your point is therefore invalid.?
By: Bey0ndDeath. on 26 May 12, 19:58:00
'And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.' The viewpoint of quran is very clear. according to the quran surah yasin ayah 40, the sun and the moon keep moving in their orbits. this makes? clear that the sun moves too. Which has just been discovered this century.
By: Bey0ndDeath. on 26 May 12, 19:54:41
Where is your evidence that someone was killed? and no, no one gets murdered for living Islam, cause it would then make that person a non-muslim themselves. ' Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them, and we made every living thing of water ?? Will they not then believe ?' - 21:29 Evidence of big Bang and Hydrology 1400 years ago.

Evolution will never? be a fact due to insufficient evidence. You are mistaking the meaning of 'fact'
By: MassineAmenzu. on 26 May 12, 17:41:01

21:30 Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a JOINED ENTITY, and We separated them and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe?. 51: (47) and we who have built the universe with [our] power [creator] and, indeed,we are the ones who EXPANDE IT. 41:11 Then He? directed Himself to the heaven while it was SMOKE and said to it and to the earth, "Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion." They said, "We have come willingly."

55:19 He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; Between them is a barrier [so] neither? of them transgresses. 25:53 And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas, one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter, and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition.
By: MultiKronblom. on 26 May 12, 17:07:47
Well the question is how much respect do you show to atheists? Probably none, that is the problem with people like you, you demand respect but are not willing to show that yourself even though you can not give any shred of evidence of your beliefs. Yes I do not respect? you because that is some- thing you have to earn, and you have not earned it!
By: thelossbloodlock. on 26 May 12, 15:50:02
You obviously? know absolutely nothing about evolutionary biology or natural selection at all. Go read a book.
By: FryderykFChopin. on 26 May 12, 12:59:11
'Also our eyes, how do we see Does that not seem like magic 2? u'. First of all, whether it 'seems' like magic is irrelevant. Indeed it seemed to the Ancient Greeks and still, to us, that to move an object you have to apply continuous force to it. Secondly, I don't see (pun intended) how just because we have eyes, therefore God/designer exist follows.
By: FryderykFChopin. on 26 May 12, 12:52:40
'genes randomly mutated by coincidence, we changed from? a puddle of elements to humans,? even though it was over a long period of time.' I hope you understand that evolution is precisely NOT a random process. To clarify, its random mutation and NON RANDOM natural selection and is accepted by 97% (Pew 2009) of scientists (and is fact btw).
By: FryderykFChopin. on 26 May 12, 12:50:06
Scientists and philosophers have identified things that are associated with good explanations. 1. Is it testable 2 Is it simple 3 Is it consistent with our background knowledge. A theistic? god fails in all respects.
By: Bey0ndDeath. on 26 May 12, 12:35:02
Multiverse is not accepted by much scientist so it can not be arugue'd about in this case, and yes you are right these are all hypotheses but wouldn't it make sense to say there was a creater out there that made everything? I mean some theorys relies alot on Chance/ Coincidence, for e.g. evolution, our genes randomly mutated by coincidence, we changed from a puddle of elements to humans, even though it was over? a long period of time. Also our eyes, how do we see Does that not seem like magic 2 u
By: FryderykFChopin. on 26 May 12, 12:22:56
This is just pure speculation. The observable universe had a beginning but what if big bangs are just occasional happenings in a multiverse that goes on ad infinitum. Again, these are only hypotheses. How is poof magic, or? God did it, the best explanation.
