At :58 is he talking about the length difference in the 7 iron to? Driver? I don't think so...
By: itsallgood21211. on 13 May 12, 00:12:03
some pros play the shaft plane and some play shoulder planes and some play numerous planes all at once. it depends on what you like but the shaft plane is best and easiest? for an amateur
By: Sealy57. on 03 May 12, 03:11:54
Wrong!! ? Your swing plane should remain the same no matter the club. You start flattening your plane as the club gets longer, you're looking for trouble. Check out Hogan or Trevino. Their swing plane stayed the same, no matter what club they hit.

For me...learning golf isn't so cut and dry...one teacher says one thing and another teacher says? the complete opposite!! You have to sort out which tips are right for you.
By: cgasucks. on 06 Mar 12, 18:15:29
Totally agree...for me I love? mastering things that few people can...

sorry this is 9 months later but i barely saw this video. I do have a great tip if you still need it. Basically you "fat" tee shot isnt nessicarily because you are too far inside its probably your angle of attack. In order to simplify this try this technique. Do as michael is telling you in this video but imagine swinging in line with your feet.Keep your head behind the ball and let your arms on the downswing swing inline? with your feet and let you arms lead you to the follow through
By: Tomrushen82. on 14 Feb 12, 17:45:38
great tip. I recently discovered at the range how much better I hit my driver by tilting to the right and? changing my spine angle at impact...I can't tell you how much better my driver is...its like night and day
By: remmy100. on 05 Feb 12, 05:28:11
For me, Golf is so addicting BECAUSE it's so hard. The challenge is what keeps? me coming back...pursuit of perfection.
By: jtd14kop. on 31 Jan 12, 06:09:22
golfs so complicated!! i hate the fact that he makes it look so easy! far much more? harder said than done but still a great watch
By: Tourswing. on 10 Nov 11, 16:39:53
It could be a number of things-first thing I would try is checking that the hands lead the? clubhead into impact slightly. Any flipping/pushing with the hand and the club will lead the hands and you've got no chance to control the clubface.
By: zZrEtRiBuTiOnZz. on 03 Nov 11, 23:43:25
You supposed to hit down on irons and slightly up on the driver. Tilt your spine a little to the right (if you're right handed)? and that should make your left shoulder slightly higher than your right. That should help a little.

thanks for? the tips

that is my basement....joking... i wish? tho!!!
By: MrRagnello17. on 13 Sep 11, 20:40:14
Hey Michael! I have the same problem as steve. I am about to turn 16, I am about a 10 handicap but I struggle off the tee terribly. No matter what I try at the range, same problem occurs. My irons are my strongest part of my game and? I feel if I could hit a consistent 270 yard drive then I would be down to about a 6 handicap. I just don't know what to do!!

By: spartanstackandtilt. on 04 Aug 11, 12:51:38
I'm assuming by fat, you mean you? are taking a divot. Most likely you are not pushing your hips forward and up with your legs enough or you are releasing the club early. When you say erratic, what do you mean? Are you slicing, hooking, etc? Sometimes you can hit a straight push to the left (righty) and a huge slice the next shot and they are caused by the same thing. What is your pattern?
By: crd31000. on 12 Jun 11, 22:40:56
OH! now he's talking more slowly and not a 78rpm? (my dad's era lol)
By: ugatrack. on 01 Jun 11, 01:42:32
Same? problem for me, but that tip didn't help. Actually, when I move the ball forward in my stance, I tend to hit fat drives. I am a good iron player, but my drives are very erratic. I have heard that swinging too far inside is the reason for the fat tee shot. When I correct that and swing steeper, I slice. Any tips?
