i've thought about rigging mine up to one of those remote controlled golf bag? things that you can operate with a keychain remote, so i can move it around remotely, they have big off road tyres. there the perfect shape and size, and it would be cool too.

Thinning helps with getting a? straighter line though?

If the fan pattern off try cleaning gun and pump filters. Tip could be warn out. I never thin paints for any reason. Cashmere was not designed to spray no? matter what the label says.

A couple things cause the roping. One is not enough pressure. Another is a dirty gun filter or pump filter. Another could be a bad tip. If you are spraying with ProClassic and a 210 tip I run the pressure at just about full pressure. 2800 PSI or greater. The cloud and droplets are a sign of a blown? tip.

How do I know if I? have to much spray pressure or to little? When I spray there is a mist cloud around my gun & face and small flecks of paint get all over me. How do I get rid of the rope lines along the top & bottom of my spray pattern. I have the RAC X 210 tip and Pro Classic paint like you recommend. Thanks!!

I have? a Graco 490 (comparable to the Titan 440i). I've only used it once and had a ton of atomized paint in the air. I now believe this was from 'bounce-back' due to having my pressure too high. However, I could not get the proper fan pattern without turning my airless all the way up, which is 3300PSI. I was shooting SW Cashmere, Low Luster, and according to its application instructions it requires a .017" - .021" tip at 2000psi. I was using a new Graco RAC X 517 tip. (CONTINUED)

Obviously I was shooting at too high of a psi, so do you know why I couldn't I get the proper fan pattern when using a recommended tip and psi? I assumed I needed to thin the paint, but after reading your comments, now I'm thinking I need a different tip. Any advice? (BTW - I didn't even realize all the paint? in the air was wrong until I watched you painting overhead without goggles). THANKS!!!

What do you store your sprayers in? Graco's Pump Armor is ~ $5 per? use around here. I'd think that is a bit much for commerical use.

I have never thinned any paints oil or water. Anything? with a 10 at the end is for trim. 15 or 17's for the walls.

I never, let me say that again, never thin paints. They are made and? tested to be used right out of the can. All you do is degrade the quality of the paint by thinning it. Don't let anyone fool you into believing you need to thin it.
