Look at the top of their swings. The arc tells the story. Jb has a massive high arc like Davis Love. John also has a high? arc but not as much as JB. Both their hands are set very high above theri heads. But JB has the highest i have seen.

see how daly duck foots out his right foot toward the 'catcher' a wee bit? this allows for greater hip turn...try it yourself...close your right foot off and rotate your hips ,now open the right foot up some,,which allows for greater rotation? daleys way...also? in his book he says that if you hire a teacher that wants you to stop horizontal with your shoulders on your back swing,,well find another teacher,,daley goes way over the top which allows for greater whip and club head speed...

Daly comes from the inside more, Holmes is really close to coming over the top..this is? really an excellent question however - lag or no lag...Daly has a more conventional grip, Holmes closes the club face down and has a very strong grip.
