Ingleborough Summit on a lovely day

Video duration: 131 seconds
Ingleborough & Whernside pt1...This was the first port of call for me and my walking buddy Clive, on a flawless day in September. Ingleborough looked magnificent as we ascended from Chapel-le-Dale on a 'mini three peaks' day trip, including Park Fell and Whernside. Please note: any reference by myself to ''a little hill'' is purely in jest!

Get it done mate....I've never come across such a variety of features and terrain on a? hike yet. The summit plateau can be a bit disorientating, so take a compass! I was lucky, it was dry as a bone, so if you can't get across the peat you could just about get away with sprinting across on your toes! (Well, mostly) - I deviated substancially from my original route, but you always know where you are if you keep with 100m of the plateau edge. Enjoy pal.

Used to walk with Manchester Ramblers Association in the early 70s. Had the? pleasure of walking with Mr Rothman and many others from the original trespass. Characters some of them were too! Kinder is one of my favourite places, I go back frequently. Great video.
