A proper exhaust ... By: xjohnnylightningx. on 21 Dec 10, 17:25:36 A proper exhaust setup would include the H-pipe before the mufflers. I recommend testing to be done in this fashion. A proper switch would be recommended for the starter. There is no load on? the engine. What is that open port on the carb that looks like it may be over the bowl. Is your pcv setup properly? Is that a two port breather cap with out a hose on the top one? I recommend venting to atmosphere. Then worry about vaccum elsewhere. Use a vaccum gage to set your idle screw position

The lighting is crappy so is the sound, but after nearly six months of putting this engine back together I couldn't wait to start it. Although all it does here is turn over, it still was a good sign. I was so excited I forgot to connect the distributor vacuum advance, and the battery needed a charge.
