By: evilsadvocate. on 11 Feb 12, 01:57:09 fuel econ wasnt really bad, thats the main reason i went with it but the performance was so lackluster it made it all show and no go. if you have a carb'd 305 go for anything 350 or bigger, you will be pretty dissapointed? with anything else, sure its cool to drive a camaro thats not bad on gas but when you step on it and it hardly goes anwhere you will regret it. it was behind a good 700r4 how does it do for ... By: evilsadvocate. on 01 Feb 12, 23:30:28 stock stuff was close to lining up, it had v8 engine mounts welded onto the k frame whitch were about four inches ahead of where the v6 ones were, so i grinded the mounts off, bolted the mounts to the engine and set the engine in where it should sit, with the cross? member bolted up, and once the engine was sitting where it wanted to be i tacked the mounts onto the k frame then pulled the motor out, welded it properly and then put the engine back in again. little un orthadox but no big deal so what motor ...
