I finally take out the husks and a marauder to get to the citadel, and what a mess we find. The people sent there are dead, and a showdown between TIM and Anderson. Ending with a talk with ghost child and Shepard, a choice between destruction or control of the reapers and synthesis.
We learn the rest of EDI's origins, along with the coversations between Kai Leng and the illusive man. After trudging through the Cerberus base we find the V.V. and face off against Leng himself.
Looks like our little specialist Samantha Traynor was right about the area, Harry Lawson working with the illusive man on a Cerberus trap. If that's not bad enough his "daughter" Miranda has tracked him down trying to find her sister.
After searching high and low we find the secret, a hidden prothean hologram. This revelation of the asari religion is hard to grasp, but Kai Leng doesn't give us time to get to grips with it. A ferocious battle helps the traitor get the prize, and we get to watch Thessia burn to ashes. oh joy!
We fight through the reaper forces after finally getting the problem with the gun fixed, but reaching the goal however revealed a surprising and startling revelation.
