I decided to try the EMAD resonant head I had on my Sound Percussion kick drum, and after some extensive comparing between recordings I made of the Pearl kick drum with both reso heads, I decided to go with the EMAD on both sides. It was a tough choice, they're both great pre-muffled resonant heads, but the EMAD reso gives slightly more? tone and attack. Thanks Andrew :) I ...
