I hope to one day expand to hand guns (mostly for the sake of a new Vaquero which makes me drool) and a lever gun too would be a lot of fun. Unfortunately I don't get to shoot all that often as I live in the? suburbs and have to drive for a couple of hours to get out into good melon hunting territory.

By: Goodkat2319. on 18 Sep 11, 16:43:09 prefer the 1897 if only because its a little safer and a little better put together than the 1893 (which? is actually why they built it), but its like i always say you cant go wrong with a Winchester....O.k so I've never actually said those words before but they're still true. Happy shooting bro and keep the vids coming :)
I'd still like to ... By: TheSoberIrishman21. on 18 Sep 11, 01:47:25 I'd still like to put some period correct parts on my 1911, I do realise of course that because it's the? Mil-Spec GI and not the standard GI that no matter what I do it will never be 100% period accurate. As for the pump shotgun I thought about getting a replica model 1893 or 1897. I'm planning on taking the M1 Garand out shooting next weekend, I wanted it to be on a day when my parents could go with me.

By: Goodkat2319. on 17 Sep 11, 20:17:04 damn fine collection, if your not bothered so much about how the gun looks so much as how it performs then whats more important is how it feels to shoot, i don't like the stainless bushing on the 1911 either but other than that its? a handsome looking gun, i think (purely my opinion of course)what you might enjoy adding to your collection in future, a decent pump shot gun to compliment that TTN, like a Mossberg 590 or benelli MI but you have to get out and shoot that M1 Garand dude

You didn't come ... By: TheSoberIrishman21. on 10 Sep 11, 01:49:27 You didn't come across as sobby at all. The reason I don't own any really fancy guns isn't because I can't afford them (I can) I just don't want them. The problem with buying a fancy gun, for me anyway, is? that if I spend say $1000 or $1200 on a really fancy handgun or rifle I would be too afraid to shoot it because I wouldn't want to put wear marks on it. I do however want to buy something a little more modern like a Glock 21.

I may have seemed a little snobby with my previous comment, but you do have a fairly nice collection, so far (That's not to? say that I have a better collection; I don't (I intend to in the future, though)). I mean, you could use a few newer models to add to your collection in the future - That is, of course, my opinion.
This belt is a black version of the gunbelt that Val Kilmer wore during the final half of the movie Tombstone. His was tan but I wanted mine in black. It has the same engraving pattern that his did. It's the belt he wore during his duel against Johnny Ringo.
This is my replica of the gunbelt worn by Clint Eastwood in Fist Full of Dollars. It was made by the same people that made my Doc Holliday shoulder holster.
This is a replica of the shoulder holster worn by Val Kilmer when he played Doc Holliday in the 1993 movie Tombstone. It was made by the Wm. Brown Holster Co. in Tombstone, Arizona.
A quick video of my old west gun leather I will be doing a more detailed review of each belt soon. The next video will be in three parts. Part 1 will be the shoulder holster, part 2 will be the Clint Eastwood "Fist Full of Dollars" rig, and part 3 will be the black version of the Doc Holliday gun belt.
