Just getting myself familiar with FL Studio. If you could tell me how to... you know... even BEGIN to make dubstep, I would apperciate it so, so, so very much. Just spent 1$100 for something I have no idea how to use.

And also, just to start out the best plugin for FL to make dubstep bass/wobbles is massive but that costs money so one that comes with FL is osc3 (I think that's what its called, I use massive now) and you can find? allot of tutorials on how to make dubstep with osc3

@liliputian07 I decided to come check out your channel to see if you were still making music and apparently you're not. I think you should keep trying to make music if you really want to because you WILL get better? at it. If you really are completely lost with FL studio as you say then look up some tutorials on how to make dubstep, or house, or whatever you want to make. Nobody stats out with FL studio knowing what they're doing. I started out bad and now I have almost 250 subs. Keep trying :)

Just keep practising. Don't go into FL? with the intention of doing one particular thing. Learn the program by just making stuff, and THEN focus on trying to make Dubstep. While this wasn't that great, with practice it can be. I used to be awful at editing, now I can do all sorts of stuff. Haven't uploaded in ages though. Just keep practising. Don't give up on making songs, but you need to learn the program.

For a first attempt, this sounds pretty good. My attempts at working in this genre end...weirdly. There are many free VST plug-ins around the internet. Check out? various free vst websites like vstplanet or places like that. If all else fails, trying layering instruments or implement the presets in odd ways. My Daddy Discord and Catherine's Park song use mostly preset voices and they sound just fine. I'll be keeping my eye on you so don't let me down! :)

if you want? to make dubstep it can be done, i have no experience on dubstep but FL has a thing you can use to make it, its called an oscilatr or somtihng

i have the same problem, i know what i want to make. i can beatbox? the dubstyep fine, but thne i have to use fl and i just cant do it. i dont know how to use effects, i know barely nothing about fl. but i'm trying and maybe one day i wont be as shit as i am now :D

TBH IDK why you would spend 100 bucks on software that? you have NO experience with. Plus, FL studio is worthless unless you get the $290 dollar version that comes with a ton of VST's. IMO, the version with just presets is worthless. You can do more with LMMS, which is a free DAW.

Honestly without plugins FL studio is worthless. IMO its a horrible decision to buy fl unless you getbthe 290 dollar version that comes with plugins. Do some research before you buy next time. At? this point youte better off using LMMS. It's free and the plugins are free.

Suggestions: Pick a different key. There are almost no house songs in a minor key. Add a lowpass filter to the growls. They sound too scratchy. Get better drums Learn to use plugins, not? presets, or you will forever be a n00b
