Yes I am 58 and I just a couple of months ago got diagnoised with aspergers, and have been telling some other professionals? for years that I had it. No use for me to dwell on that though. The proplem of where I live in the north west of Scotland there is unfortunately very little support. Even most of the medical staff don't have a clue. Had told doctors years ago I was autistic only to be told it was ridiculous. I am also Bipolar and am married to an? Aspie but am pretty much a recluse. Lots of fears and couldn't learn to drive. My parents and others worried about my eccentricities and unusual ways of doing things. I eventually learned to mimic neurotypical behavior and became a pretty good actor.
