2d Finite Element Heat Transfer
Posted by: Heatseeker1
Video duration: 45 seconds
A 2d model of a cpu (heat source) and heatsink with cooling fins, made in Gmod.
The heatsink is first heated up with convection/radiation from the surface disabled. Convection/radiation heat loss is then enabled.

Old clocks
Posted by: Heatseeker1
Video duration: 102 seconds
A video of two of my old clocks, made about a year ago, maybe more in gmod. The first is a simple e1 digital clock, but chimes like Big Ben.
The second doesn't use wire, but uses a real pendulum to regulate time and 60:1 gearing in the hands. It uses a thruster to generate the torque to drive the whole thing.

I'm kinda intrigued, how did you use it for? wheels?

Nice ... it worked? for my Tesla Wheel Test with E2 :)

Could this be? applicable to variable-pitch propeller blades?

A movable? adv-ballsocket would be endlessly usefull actually.

An axis constraint requires constraining to the world or to a second prop, both of which can give you limitations. You might want to rotate about a point other than the mass centre to make a contraption look more realistic, as gmod contraption mass centres often aren't true to life due to how mass is needed to toughen welds for example. Of course for multi prop contraptions this e2 will? need generalising further.

Interesting tool, I don't see why it would? be better then an axis or why you'd need a movable hinge point but nonetheless good job.
