were you running on high performance? were you using your ATI card? did you put coolsense to performance? Were you using the BF3 optimized driver? 11.10 i think it was. Were you on battery or charger? There has got to be something wrong then. also, did you overclock your GPU? ( you may have damaged it). Try changing dynamic switching to fixed switching. My WEI with dynamic was 6.6, with fixed it was? 6.9. Now I have overclocked to 875/950 and its at 7.2

I have the same laptop too, and? I ran the beta for BF3 with 29-30 FPS on those settings lol.

@asulikit11 @asulikit11 Well an Alienware m14x with i7 2720qm ( superior processor than the one in this video) and a 3 gb GT 555m scores 6400 ( average ) on 3d mark vantage. My DV6 6121tx ( with i7 2630qm Inferior processor ) scores 7300 ( average ) with a 2 gb 6770m. So yeah, i would say that the? HD 6770m is better than the GT 555m

@lonewolf90211 I run BF3 (same laptop as this guy) with everything set on high(some on medium) and textures on Ultra at? 720p(not 768) and i get solid 35-40 fps with some spikes upto 50-60 fps. so your not just good @low/medium settings. YOU ARE FUCKING GOLDEN

the 6770m is your? better option, the 525m struggle at higher settings and isn't very good for a gaming laptop. It makes more sense to compare the 6770m with an nvidia 555m as they seem to be neck and neck to each other.

Hey engberg, I got the laptop yesterday. Whenever I play games, the laptop gets hot on the uppert left and bottom left and there's a huge fan noise that kicks in. Is this normal?? And is there any other way to cool it? I feel scared :S

Yeah I saw the video of someone runnin Crysis 2 on the 6770m too :) Oh well.. We'll have to wait until the open beta comes out on September to download and test? it out for ourselves :)

Thats good to know. I may have to install it on here then? just to see how it'll perform. And actually, this laptop runs crysis 2 pretty well :D. I haven't tried, but there's a video on here of a 6770m running it.

@EngbergTheSwede honesty @ e3 patrick Bach said if you can rub bad? company 2 then u will definently be able to run bd3 They also said bf3's minimum requirements won't be anything crazy like crysis 2 So we should be good @ low/medium settings Besides all I care about is the gameplay with my friends :) Still gotta wait for my laptop though.. Ship date is july 12th -.-

By the way it looks now, I would expect it to be a struggle. As someone said a while ago, perhaps the? 6770m will be able to run the campaign well, but not online multiplayer due to the vast size of the maps and the new demanding features that battlefield 3 has will take some strong hardware to run it all, and probably too difficult for a mobile GPU :( I wouldnt doubt ultra low settings would provide for a playable game but wheres the fun in that? ;)
