By: jbyjby1. on 09 May 12, 14:52:51 b.s san jose has been good look at there record, dallas has won a cup this decade these teams you want to move them because they can have rivalys? and you must be a candian fan moving all these teams up north. nash ville has been great so why move them. they have a awsome fan base and there doing well. why make secound vedio saying why we shouldn't move all these teams.

You are the most ... By: MogulMutt16. on 14 Apr 12, 21:28:27 You are the most retarded fuck? ever. You obvioulsy do not understand economics at all.
WOW, you know ... By: thedude8425. on 10 Apr 12, 08:43:44 WOW, you know literally nothing about hockey and fan bases. San Jose sells out almost every night if not every night. Anaheim has the smallest market in the league but still does very well and makes more money than a lot of big market teams.? Just in case you didnt get the idea, you are fucking stupid and do not know anything about hockey.
So I guess by your ... By: chrispredsfan. on 23 Mar 12, 00:01:17 So I guess by your logic the NHL should have moved Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh too. Early 80's Detroit had the worst attendance in the league. Chicago, Boston and Pittsburgh have all been below 80% from? 2000-2010.
Halifax nice? By: TheEmosuperhero. on 22 Mar 12, 20:41:17 Halifax nice?
Indianapolis ... By: kennylee446. on 01 Mar 12, 06:15:30 Indianapolis doesn't even have an NHL-caliber arena and neither does Milwaukee. Don't even bring the Bradley Center on the table, that place is not too great. ? It's old and lacks luxury suites/club seats. It will likely take a renovated Bradley Center or a brand new arena for the NHL to move there.
Why would the Ducks ... By: kennylee446. on 01 Mar 12, 06:09:50 Why would the Ducks move? just because they don't have a high attendance? I don't understand why people write ridiculous comments like? these. Teams don't move because they have low attendance unless if that is hurting them financially and the Ducks don't have that problem. They will NEVER relocate. The only team that will end up moving will be the Coyotes, enough said.

You fucking retard, ... By: eastbayhwd1987. on 22 Feb 12, 07:07:28 You fucking retard, San Jose has been selling out for years despite being playoff choke artists year after year. If you're? gonna move a team in California it should be the Anaheim Ducks.
I am not in anyway ... By: chrispredsfan. on 29 Jan 12, 16:06:51 I am not in anyway suggestioning that they? move the Ducks or Kings. I think both are in great markets. Like I said the only team that may relocate is the Coyote and that is only because the NHL owns them and once they are sold the new owner(s) could relocate them.
Great points there. ... By: kennylee446. on 29 Jan 12, 07:12:34 Great points there. ? Yeah even the NFL is having attendance problems due to high ticket prices (ie. Jaguars, Bucs, Rams, & so on). Times are tough because of the economy. The problem with attendance is that it is a such a relative measure. It depends on the success of the team. It depends on the price of the tickets. What matters at the end of the day is not attendance, but profitability. Are teams losing money? Why are they losing money and can that be rectified?
the Ducks and Kings ... By: kennylee446. on 29 Jan 12, 07:05:38 the Ducks and Kings both established well in their markets. I'm a Ducks fan, and yes my team has had a low attendance in the last 4 years or so but our owners are making money and we have a solid fanbase here? in SoCal. They are not dealing with any financial crisis the only problem is, there are not that many hockey fans in Anaheim. Orange County has 1/4 of LA population.
Saskatoon is way ... By: johnymo96. on 28 Jan 12, 05:04:22 Saskatoon is way too small to have a NHL team..even if half the citys population comes to the all the games and they sell out. The NHL? wants teams that will generate potential large television audiences as well. Sasktoons metro population is not even 300,000

Portland, Milwaukee ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:51:53 Portland, Milwaukee and Indianapolis will never get a NHL team as long as the have the NBA. Those markets are just to small to support two teams that? both play 82 home games during the same time of the year. So you can scratch those three for sure.
I left Anaheim and ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:37:36 I left Anaheim and Kings both have had lower average season attendance than the Preds, so that is over half of the teams in? the NHL.
Both Dallas and ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:26:47 Both Dallas and Carolina have won the Cup. Something that neither the North Stars or Whalers could say. Sale out at 95%?? Have you seen? attendance numbers in pro sports today. MLB, NBA, NHL and even NFL all have attendance numbers under 80%. Times are tough and ticket prices are at an all time high. All teams are fine where they are at, if any team moves it will be the
Coyotes only because the league owns them and they will eventually sale.
You also said that ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:21:44 You also said that Nashville attendance is bad when the team is not playing well. Once again you know little about this team. The worst attendance season they ever had was the season when the Preds had the second best record in the league 13,619 with 110 points. The problem was the owner pissed off the fans and local corporate sponsors. After he sold the fans and businesses came back. He was a great owner? but made some really poor decisions that cost him in the end.
Here is another ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:17:20 Here is another fact about overall attendance. Since the Preds have been in the? league these teams have had average season attendance lower than the Preds have ever had. Chicago 12,318, New Jersey 12,714, Pittsburgh 12,472, Washington 12,910, Boston 13,255 plus Colorado, Dallas, New York Islanders, Phoenix, Atlanta, Carolina, Florida, Tampa almost half the teams in the NHL.
Check again ... By: chrispredsfan. on 24 Dec 11, 16:08:26 Check again Nashville percentage is 96% this season which? is 16,496 per game. The arena only holds 17,113 which is the third smallest in the league. Nashville overall attendance numbers is almost 90% which is not bad at all considering it is a small market team. Check your attendance figures again, Nashville lowest average season is 13,619 and then 13,927 after that it is all 14,000 or higher.
The only one of ... By: 893160007. on 23 Dec 11, 19:30:40 The only one of those teams I would be okay with staying is San Jose. 16 000 is terrible attendance that is only 82%. Nashvilles attendance is terrible when the team isn't playing good (which is the same reason I suggest San Jose) Carolina is at 80. Dallas is at 63%. And none of those teams have history. Even if your team is terrible you should still be able to sell? out 95% of your arena.
Moving San Jose, ... By: chrispredsfan. on 23 Dec 11, 18:55:53 Moving San Jose, Nashville, Carolina and Tampa. Do you watch hockey? Heck Florida is averaging almost 16,000 this season and that is lowest attendance of these five teams. San Jose has sold out every game for years, Nashville has sold out almost half of their games this season and Carolina has done quite well. Plus Dallas has a real strong fan base as well. The only team that might move is the Coyotes and that is only because the NHL owns them and? will have to sale them soon.

yeah, I seriously think the Blues will outscore the caps. *huge roll of eyes*
Try rereading what I said.
If? you don't think a team will make it, then just say something to the effect of "I think they're the odd team out, but it'll be close." I have no problem with that, but you elect to just say that they can't even compete, which is about the worst wording I could imagine for describing the NHL.
you honestly think ... By: 893160007. on 24 Sep 10, 22:10:06 you honestly think the blues will score as much as the caps
There were text limits so I couldn't be indpeth
I think the East will be very tight other then Toronto and Florida
I think the top 6 can finish anywhere in the top 6 and the rest will be in a tight race for the last 2 spots I just don't see the flyers winning that race?
By that logic, I ... By: ToTheConquered. on 24 Sep 10, 21:53:40 By that logic, I could predict the Capitals to finish 7th because I think they will not score this year, and if a Capitals fan says that my pick is stupid, I'll just blame him for being a homer.
I like bold predictions, but you cross the line with how matter-of-fact you are in your explanations. "Lost too many players to contend" Really? They can't even contend? You do know what the word contend means right? They don't even have a? chance to make the playoffs, apparently?
so my predictions ... By: 893160007. on 24 Sep 10, 20:45:04 so my predictions are stupid just because? I don't think your favorite team will do good

I few are etchy.? ... By: Kartracer6. on 22 Sep 10, 19:04:23 I few are etchy.? Like Edmonton even making the playoffs. top 5 in the west could be close. I could see the same 5 teams in the top five. Perhaps not all in the same order but still those 5 teams.
nobody on the blues ... By: 893160007. on 22 Sep 10, 05:46:31 nobody on the blues last year had 60 points and only one broke? 50
I just dont think they will have enough offensive production when I llok at their roster and stats from last year
It's easy to ... By: ToTheConquered. on 22 Sep 10, 05:09:27 It's easy to compensate for 17th in scoring if you have a good defense, which the Blues do. Yes, there probably will be bad years for a few players, but you're banking on the whole team having a bad year, which is illogical.
Oshie, Perron, McDonald, Berglund, Johnson, Boyes, Backes, Steen are? all capable of 60 or more points. You just believe that none of them will or you may just not know anything about the team at all, which makes sense given your prediction.
If a player has a ... By: 893160007. on 22 Sep 10, 04:54:08 If a player has a horrendous goal total who says they won't have another and btw 17th isn't that great Kariya and Tkachuck going will hurt them I do not see any of their players being a top goal scorer and I definently don't see 2 top goal scorers and its very difficult to make? the playoffs without 2 good goal scorers
They finished 17th ... By: ToTheConquered. on 22 Sep 10, 04:39:49 They finished 17th in scoring last year despite Boyes, Backes, and Berglund having horrendous goal totals. Plus, the core of their high draft-picks will logically? score more this year, especially since Kariya and Tkachuk have retired.
Why do you think they won't score enough? Are you just throwing darts while blind-folded at a wall with random predictions?
